The sun is slowly declining. It’s almost time for the aperitif, and it won’t be long before the cooler weather sets in. Tandems are formed.
Missing a player? Let’s go and find a neighbor. All that’s left to do is find a small, straight driveway, a nice gravel surface or a sandbank, or the one near the Bar du Lac, and that’s it for the pitch. As for the equipment, nothing too complicated either: shorts, wife-beater, running shoes, beret and a set of chrome balls. The game can begin!
Among the players, of course, there’s always the “pro” who gives good advice, the “shy” who throws the jack at his feet, and the quiet one who plays a series of pretty shots without saying a word. The atmosphere is unique every time. And every year, the game of boules returns like a sacred ritual, enlivening the alleys of Les Lacs d’Armagnac campsite with bursts of laughter!
